Results: John's friends 2 - Speys 0

The lack of effort on my family's part is as discouraging as John's friends' unexpected contributions are encouraging.

I think maybe the Speys need some crash courses in blog participation. Or maybe it's Friday and I need more work to do so I don't get pre-occupied with a blog called Future Spey. But honestly, c'mon people, we/you can do better than this.

Baby name games are fun, so lets start over. Suggestions for Future Spey's future name? Great idea. All are welcome. Just click on the comments button and fire away. Ready? Go!

Ray Spey, Fay Spey, Jay Spey, Jorge Spey, Shauntay Spey, and of course the old favorite Ernay Spey. If none of these work or if they seem a little too "urban" please remember I was born and raised in that cultural mecca Youngstown, Ohio. The only place in America where your car cost more than your house and over half the population have those little teardrop tattoos. And, Fay is a man's name, remember Fay Vincent?

The name game is really somewhat mis-leading, since the young guy will simply be know as spey to his friends.

If he has other siblings, he may become lumped together with them-----as we were known as "GregoryStevieBryan stop that" when our Mother yelled at any one of us (or usually two of us causing trouble)----I, of course, was always completely innocent.

A true southern name (yes, Takoma Park is south of the Mason-Dixon line) would be the all encompassing "Bubba" or possibly his first two initials.

Since he will be the smallest male Spey, I have already decided, logically, to call him "Big Guy".

His grandmother, of course, will call him "precious"---as in "Let me hold that precious baby".

I don't think the Speys will pick a name that rhymes to save future embarasment for the child
